We've had a presence in Panama since 1984 since when we have served Insurees as well as Insurers.
In the Maritime field we have acted as agents for the London Insurance Institute now know by its initials

LIRMAR (London Insurance and Reinsurance Market). Toplis and Harding (Panamá), S.A. continues to represent some LIRMAR insurance firms as well as other international players.
In Panama we obtained recognition of the General Insurance Superintendancy due to the insurance law which entered into effect in 1998 with resolution #279 which gives validity and confirms our qualification as Averías Inspecottrs and Adjustors in the Republic of Panama. We are licensed to operated within the Colon Free Trade Zone. We retain the concession of Panama Ports, S.A. (Hutchinson Wampoa) to lend our services in the Balboa and Cristobal ports. We have access to the Manzanillo, Colon Container Terminal (Evergreen) and the national ports of Vacamonte, Aguadulce, Petroterminales, Chiriqui Grande, Puerto Armuelles, Pedregal, and Almirante.

We have been recognized by Panamanian Insurers Association (APADEA), the Panamanian Chamber of Insurance Brokers (CAPECOSE), the Association of Insurance Producers of Panama (APROSEPA), the Panamanian Association of Maritime Law and Maritime Tribunal. We are active members of the Maritime Chamber of Panama, the Chamber of Commerce of Panama, the Association of Colon Free Trade Zone Users, the Panamanian Tuna Industry, and the Panamanian Association of Risks and Insurance (APARYS).

Toplis and Harding (Panama), S.A. in non-maritime adjustments, has a long and recognized history in fires, following the invasion in the decade of the 90s in the interior of the country and at the Chiriqui and Bocas del Toro borders, in the 80s fires in Calidonia, Central including Almacén Tivoli. We also have experience with floods that have occured in Panama, the Colon Free Trade Zone, Chiriqui, and Bocas del Toro.

Since 1984 we have inspected and attended to robberies of all forms throughout the country. We have vast experience with C.A.R. (Contracter All Risk) claims, construction, equipments, and machines during the course of the projects previously mentioned. In non-maritimes claims we have adjusters that posess the necessary qualifications.
